Below are some general rules when visiting our building.


Food and Drink Outside Food and Drink are allowed on the premises, we just require that you clean up after yourself; trash receptacles are available throughout the building. No Alcohol allowed on the premises.

Tickets Admission is free.

Adult Supervision Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 16. No running on the premises.

Photography Staver Locomotive is private property, however, photography and video are allowed and encouraged.

Leaving and Returning Visitors may leave and return at any time during the event.

Lost and Found If you have lost or found a personal item, please stop by the Welcome Center.

Coats -n- Stuff Feel free to leave your jackets in our Coats-n-Stuff room next to the entrance. While this room is safe, Staver Locomotive is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

Parking FREE parking is available in the lot or on public street parking. Disabled parking is available directly in front of the entrance of the main entrance.

Special Services Staver Locomotive strives to be accessible to all kinds of visitors. That is why most of our exhibits meet and/or exceed federal and ADA requirements for accessibility.

Strollers Stroller parking is available at the Coats-n-Stuff room. Strollers are allowed throughout the building, please ensure that strollers are with you at all times and out of direct traffic entrances.

Smoking Staver Locomotive is a smoke-free facility. Designated Smoking areas outside are available for your convenience.
